Validating Women's Creative Energy sits at the very core of aesclepion.

​

The Aesclepion Healing Center was founded to house The Marin Birth Center, and healing activities for women.  The birth center was the first free-standing birth center in California.  Looking at and creating space for women's creative energy during pregnancy, birth and post-partum, was center stage. 

 

Since the closing of the birth center, aesclepion has continued the tradition and teaches women about their own female power using visualization techniques similar to those taught to the birthing moms.
